BOB BRIERE - STURBRIDGE HISTORY 

Well-known local historian Bob Briere leads viewers on fascinating tours of Sturbridge history throughout the centuries as he is interviewed by WESO radio host Dick Vaughan. From Sturbridge in the Civil War to the old town fairgrounds, there's always something new to learn about the town and the many generations of people who have made it their home.

CONCERTS ON THE COMMON

The summer series of weekly concerts on the Town Common brings a diverse lineup of talented performers to town. Sit back, relax, and dream of those lazy, hazy summer nights as you're entertained by every sort of musical style from Beatlemania to the US Army's military bands.

GOURMET GRANNIES (AND FRIENDS)  

Produced in cooperation with the Sturbridge-Fiskdale Senior Center, this lively series gives local chefs a chance to show off their favorite recipes and share the delicious results with a live audience!

PET TALK

Joe and Sheryl Blancato of the Second Chance Animal Shelter in East Brookfield host this entertaining and informative look at topics of interest to all animal lovers, designed to make you a better and more responsible pet owner.

SENIOR CENTER PROGRAMMING

The Sturbridge Fiskdale Senior Center schedules many informative special presentations for senior citizens, including talks on legal/safety, health, and medical insurance topics. Watch for these programs frequently on Channel 192.

THE FOLKLORIST

Produced by NewTV in Newton, Massachusetts, The Folklorist is an Emmy Award-winning television series that offers a captivating look at the stories i history that have forever inspired us. Whether it is a tale of legendary lost cities, forgotten heroes, or hoaxes beyond belief, The Folklorist brings audiences back to each story's origins, and uncovers what's been left out of text books, and lives on as folklore.

PHYSICIAN FOCUS 

A monthly, half-hour educational talk show that brings health and medical information from practicing physicians and health care professionals to people and patients of all ages. It's produced by Richard Gulla of the Massachusetts Medical Society at the facilities of HCAM-TV in Hopkinton.

 

GO FISH

Dan Kennedy of Leicester produces and hosts this peripatetic fishing show, sure to bait the hooks of armchair anglers everywhere. Dan takes his viewersall over the U.S. and into Canada to both fresh and saltwater destinations. Through his program, Dan reveals and discusses useful and effective fishing techniques and products, all while enjoying the great outdoors.

 

JESSERSIZE

Jessersize is a workout program geared toward all fitness levels. "One size fits all" workouts can be done by the audience at home. The shows also feature occasional beauty segments from hair and makeup artists. The series is produced by Jessica Sue Haroutunian through Uxbridge Community Television.

 

EAT WELL BE HAPPY

"Eat Well Be Happy" is a cooking show aimed at bringing back the pleasures of the table with fresh, seasonal, colorful ingredients (organic when possible). Recipes are simple, but the results make folks swoon with delight. Eat Well Be Happy will make you pick up that spoon, will make you explore community through food!

 

YOGA FOR HEALTH AND JOY with Patricia Becker
